New Year, New Resolutions… but Better Teeth

Published in January 2020.

The new year is the best time to make resolutions, so this year we at Sandhurst family dental are challenging you with two resolutions we hope youā€™ll follow in the new year to get brighter and whiter teeth.Ā

Dental Resolution #1 – talk to your Dentist

Finding time to visit the dentist is something that too many people are putting off. And we’ve heard them all at Sandhurst Family Dental! Some people just donā€™t like talking over the phone, some people have days that are packed back-to-back. There are even some people still don’t see the point of seeing a dentist!

Well, here at Sandhurst Family Dental we offer online booking for appointments. If you already know what you need, you don’t even have to pick up the phone. If insurance coverage is a problem, we offer discount programs for seniors, for students, families with kids and more. We are committed to ensuring that oral care is accessible and educational too. Even if your teeth seem fine, no one knows your mouth better than your dentist.Ā

Dental Resolution #2 – Just Floss Already!

If there’s one habit you want to adopt this year, flossing should probably be up there. It may not be the most exciting part of your day, but the benefits are real. Flossing is one of the best things that you can do for your teeth, especially if you donā€™t have the chance to brush after every meal (seriously, do you?). Flossing really helps loosen plaque build-up and remove leftover food. Floss is also a portable care package for your teeth and can be used both at home and on the go.Ā

Resolutions are a reason to do things youā€™ve always wanted to do. So why not do something good for you in the long term?
